Cheshire East announces framework winners

The contractors successful in tendering for public projects worth up to £800,000 have been confirmed by Cheshire East Council.

The framework covers projects on schools, libraries, leisure centres, community buildings, depots, crematoria, health buildings and National Trust estates and will run for three years, with the option to extend for a further 12 months. The total value of the contract is £13.5m.

Nineteen tenders were received for the Low Value Services Framework, with six firms winning.

They are: Manchester & Cheshire Construction Co, based in Salford; Warrington-based Harry Fairclough Construction; F Parkinson of Blackpool; Aspect Construction Contracts from Sutton Weaver; Shaylor Group of Walsall; and Seddon Construction, based in Bolton.
