Cheshire auction in August

Auction House Cheshire & North East Wales has released its catalogue for the sale on 9 August.

This will be their fourth of six property auctions planned this year. The auctioneer has sold 90% of residential lots this year.

Amongst the 16 lots offered for auction is a mixture of building land, houses and bungalows in need of refurbishment, commercial property, homes and apartments ready to move into. Lots include a grade II-listed former Lodge house in the village of Halton, Cheshire.

Edward Feather of Auction House Cheshire & North Wales said: "We are seeing a strong increase in demand from both buyers and sellers looking to use Auction House to facilitate their property transactions in what is still an uncertain market. There are sellers who need to move things on quickly for various reasons and buyers who feel safer putting money into bricks and mortar rather than in the bank. The rental market is strong and terrace houses on the outskirts of Chester always attract strong interest from buy-to-let landlords. We look forward to another busy auction."

The sale will take place at Mecure Chester East Hotel, Whitchurch Road, Christleton from 2pm on Thursday 9 August.

Entries are now being taken for the October auction and more details.
