Chapman promoted to partner at WHR

WHR Property Consultants has promoted Gary Chapman to become the eighth partner at the Manchester-based independent practice.

Chapman was one of the first people to join WHR after it was established 10 years ago, and works in the industrial department alongside Mike Rooney.

Gareth Buckley, Mark Williams and Rooney founded WHR in 2004, and are all equity partners. Fellow founder Mike Hawkins left the business last year to join Colliers International. Non-equity partners in the business are Dan Crossley, Simon Hampson, Graham Aitkenhead, John Edwards, and now Chapman.

Chapman said: "I am very pleased to have been made partner. Having worked for WHR for the last 10 years, I have seen the company grow – even through a recession – and with a number of high profile projects that we are working on currently the outlook is very positive."

Gareth Buckley, partner at WHR, said: "Gary has proven to be a dedicated and valuable member of our team and this promotion is in recognition of his hard work and commitment to the firm."
