Chancery sold as Topland makes Manchester deals

Investment company Topland Group is close to buying the 51,000 sq ft Chancery office in Manchester city centre from Patrizia, for around £20m.

On the corner of Spring Gardens and Chancery Lane, the building was last sold in 2016 when it was bought by Rockspring, which later merged with Patrizia, for £16m.

CBRE acted for Patrizia.

In Manchester, Topland has also made a deal with Hermes to acquire Elliot House, home to the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Gusto, for around £12m.

The office is around 20,000 sq ft, and was previously sold by Bruntwood in 2014.
