CDS on site with Ellesmere Port homes

Pochin Homes has agreed a contract worth £1.19m to build social housing at Ellesmere Port on behalf of CDS Housing Association, part of the Plus Dane Group.

Cheshire-based Pochin will build 14 terraced and semi-detached houses in four areas of Ellesmere Port: Richmond Court, Brancepeth Court, Raby Court and Durham Court.

John Russell, commercial director of Pochin Homes, said: "This scheme is the culmination of months of hard work by all parties involved, including Cheshire West and Chester Council, Plus Dane Group and Pochin Homes to increase the amount of affordable housing in the Ellesmere Port area.

"We are pleased to play a part in helping to bring this strategy to life and it is fantastic to be part of a project that will bring much needed affordable accommodation to the local community."

Work started last week is scheduled to complete in autumn.
