CBRE promotes Christine Hanson to Northern chairman

CB Richard Ellis has reshuffled its management team in the North of England with three senior promotions.

Christine Hanson has taken the new role of chairman of CBRE for the North, with John Ogden named managing director for Manchester and Richard Sunderland managing director in Leeds. Nick Rice is already and remains managing director for Liverpool.

Hanson was previously managing director for CBRE in the North West and Ogden was previously managing director of the Leeds office. CBRE's Northern offices are Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield.

Martin Samworth, managing director, CB Richard Ellis UK, said: "Christine has been with the company for 27 years and by stepping up to the newly-created role of chairman of CBRE in the North, she will bring her vast experience and knowledge of the business and local market to bear. John has done a remarkable job in our Leeds office, excellently supported by Richard Sunderland, and I know he will bring with him great expertise to lead the company's offer in Manchester."
