CBRE Investors reports deals at Buckshaw Link

Landlord CBRE Investors has secured two more lettings at Buckshaw Link in Chorley.

Unit E has been let to Total Medication Management Services or TOMMS for short on a new 10-year lease with a 5-year break at a headline rent of £5.50/sq ft. The building comprises 8,016 sq ft of warehouse and office space.

Merlin Cycles expanded into Unit A2, which totals 6,440 sq ft. The bespoke mountain bike manufacturer signed a new 10-year lease, doubling its presence on the development.

Rob Trevor, director of CBRE Investors, said: "In the current economic climate, it is great to see a local business like Merlin thriving and expanding on site, and we are also delighted to be able to welcome TOMMS Pharmacy to Chorley. These are exciting times with the new Tesco superstore now under construction opposite the scheme and work due to commence on the adjacent railway station imminently. Interest in Buckshaw Link has really taken off and as a result we currently have a further five units under offer, totalling 85,000 sq ft."

Buckshaw Link comprises 20 speculative new warehouse/industrial units between Junction 8 of the M61 and Junction 28 of the M6. The scheme offers units from 6,425 sq ft to 36,392 sq ft.

King Sturge and Bailey Deakin & Hamiltons are the joint agents on the development.
