CBRE hires from Co-operative

The Manchester office of CBRE has appointed Rory O’Leary from the Co-Operative Group as associate director in its lease consultancy team.

O’Leary was estates manager at the Co-op, where he spent four years. Prior to that he worked at NB Real Estate and Stationery Box.

O’Leary has 13 years’ experience dealing with rent reviews, lease renewals and re-gears on all types of commercial property. At CBRE he will act for landlords and tenants with clients including funds, private landlords, retailers and occupiers.

Fiona Halliwell, director of the North West lease consultancy team, said: “Having previously worked together [at NB Real Estate] earlier in our careers, I am looking forward to continuing that working relationship on CBRE’s highly varied client base, to enable us to achieve potential future growth.”
