CBRE hands over Abergele housing office

Cartrefi Conway, the Welsh social housing landlord, has officially opened its new headquarters in Abergele, North Wales.

CBRE's building consultancy team, headed by Angela Seddon in Manchester, was appointed to project manage the design and fit-out of the 15,750 sq ft bespoke building.

Angela Seddon, senior director and head of building consultancy in the North West, said: "Cartrefi Conway is one of the most successful social housing landlords in North Wales and was keen to create a more efficient working environment bringing all of their offices together under one roof. We worked very closely with Cartrefi Conway from the start of this project undertaking feasibility studies of potential accommodation options, identified a suitable one acre site for the new HQ and project managed the design and fit-out to tight timescales and within budget."

Liverpool-based Owen Ellis Architects designed the building and Wynne Construction was the appointed contractor.
