CBRE appoints Cushwake’s Woods as associate director

CB Richard Ellis has appointed Rob Woods as associate director in the North West capital markets team, based in Liverpool city centre.

Woods joins CBRE from the Manchester office of Cushman & Wakefield, following the closure of its investment team, and has extensive experience in property investment.

Simon Wood, senior director for the North West capital markets team at CBRE, said: "Rob's key role will be to work closely with the other successful CBRE departments in Liverpool to help grow investment business in the city and surrounding region. We are very committed to the Merseyside market and this appointment reflects our belief that it is a strong area with significant growth potential. We are very pleased to have Rob on board and look forward to the benefit of his professional and local knowledge."

Speaking about his appointment, Woods said: "CBRE is one of the UK's leading property firms and I'm thrilled to be joining the team in Liverpool where it is very active. I am a local lad so it's going to be great to make the most of my regional knowledge, and that of my new colleagues, to help assist and develop the investment client portfolio across Merseyside."

It was announced in February this year that Cushman & Wakefield would be making 80 staff redundant across the UK business.
