CBRE adds to capital markets

The Manchester office of CBRE has added graduate Luke Wilson to its capital markets team as a surveyor.

Wilson joined from CBRE's graduate scheme having obtained MRICS status in November 2014. He graduated in commercial property and town planning at the University of Sheffield.

Wilson will support senior director Colin Thomasson and directors Will Kennon and Robert Woods.

In 2014, CBRE's North West capital markets team advised on more than £500m of investment transactions in the year, including the £132m sale of City Tower for Bruntwood and the £57m acquisition of Chancery Place for NFU Mutual, both deals in Manchester.

Colin Thomasson said: "After an incredibly successful year, we are preparing for a similarly strong 2015 as investment activity within the North West continues to pick up pace. Luke already understands the CBRE business and will be a valuable addition to our busy team."

Wilson said: "I am excited about the new opportunity and look forward to working with the capital markets team on a host of high profile instructions throughout the North West."
