CBRE adds M&E with Valehouse deal

The team of mechanical and electrical engineers at Valehouse Consulting Engineers based in Hollingworth have joined CB Richard Ellis.

CBRE's newly acquired engineering services team, based in Manchester and Liverpool, will form part of the firm's North West building consultancy department, headed by Angela Seddon.

CBRE claims no other property adviser in the North West has M&E capabilities as part of an in-house team.

Jason Nuttall, founder of Valehouse and now director of CBRE, will head the engineering services team, alongside fellow Valehouse colleagues senior engineer, Lee Fraine, and services engineer James Street. Valehouse will be dissolved following the move. CBRE now employs 11 people in its North West building consultancy team.

Nuttall said: "I am looking forward to developing the engineering services offering at CBRE and getting stuck into my new role. CBRE is an extremely well respected business, and I felt that joining the firm was the right move for both myself and my team."
