Cassidy + Ashton expands Preston team
The architectural and planning consultancy has appointed Chris Homer as architectural assistant, after what the firm said was its busiest six months for a number of years.
Homer joined from Croft Goode Architects where he was an architectural assistant. He has also worked at Heyes & Co and AMEC Environmental.
Homer is currently studying towards a part two qualification from the Royal Institute of British Architects. He is experienced in designing and masterplanning large scale housing schemes.
Homer said: "Cassidy + Ashton has a strong reputation and vast experience across a number of sectors and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects was a big draw for me. In addition to being strong in the education sector, the practice has worked on many commercial projects across the UK and I'm looking forward to utilising my existing skills to assist the technicians and architects from design through to delivery."
Cassidy + Ashton has offices in Preston and Chester, and employs more than 40 people. Projects include the Woodford Aerodrome redevelopment, the Parsonage Way Retail Park in Leigh, and ongoing work for the University of Liverpool.
