Capital & Centric’s development team grows
The property developer has made five hires over the past year, pulling veteran talent from Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Muse Developments, Cube Homes, DeTrafford and CityBlock Group.
Emma Cooper is the latest hire for the development team and will be starting at Capital & Centric in the next few weeks. As per company policy for members of the development team, she does not have a job title. Cooper comes to Capital & Centric from Cube Homes, where she worked as a project manager for eight years.
Other key appointments in the development team since January 2021 include David Wells (previously regional director at Muse Developments), Richard Spackman (previously project manager at DeTrafford), and Andrew Bargh (previously development manager at CityBlock Group).
Ellen Petty joined Capital & Centric’s in-house marketing and design team as a marketing manager in June. She will be working alongside Font Communications, Capital & Centric’s retained PR agency. Petty previously worked as a senior engagement and communications officer with Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
Capital & Centric bills itself as a “social-impact developer.” Current projects include the £37m Swan Street project and the £250m Kampus mixed-use scheme. Its Crusader Mill development was featured in BBC Two’s “Manctopia” series.
