Capital & Centric flips on Quay Street

The Manchester-based developer has sold the 22,000 sq ft Kabel House to a consortium of investors known as Ventnor for £7m, having acquired it in May for £5.5m.

C&C bought 15 Quay Street in an off-market deal from a private individual.

Around 4,000 sq ft was vacant, but over the summer months C&C secured a 10-year letting to Handelsbanken at £22.50/sq ft, understood to be a significant uplift on the figure charged for the building previously, at around £16/sq ft.

The building’s other occupiers are insurance group Jelf and web domain provider Uniregistry.

Capital & Centric were advised by Scorah Properties. C&C was unavailable to comment when contacted this morning.
