CampbellReith grows in Manchester

Engineering consultant CampbellReith has expanded its Manchester office in Standard Life Investments’ No1 Marsden Street, as the company aims to double its staff headcount in the next three years.

CampbellReith has leased 2,400 sq ft on the tenth floor of No1 Marsden Street, relocating after four years on the first floor of the same building, in response to a period of growth and expansion.

Flexible Business Interiors provided the fit-out and JLL provided project management services on behalf of CampbellReith.

There are 16 people in CampbellReith’s Manchester office, delivering development planning services, civil and structural engineering design, land quality and geotechnical consultancy services.

CampbellReith has recently hired four graduates and associate Peter Kenny, who leads the land quality team. Following the move, CampbellReith said it is looking to further expand civil engineering, land quality and structural engineering, with the intention of growing the office to 30 people within the next 2-3 years.

Schemes include Whittingham Hospital in Preston for Homes England, South Heywood for Russell Homes, and Manchester United’s training complex at Carrington.
