Café to open in science park

Oomoo is opening at Liverpool Science Park's Innovation Centre 1 on Mount Pleasant in Liverpool city centre.

Oomoo is already based in Wavertree and will open a small kiosk in the reception of ic1, its first city centre outlet, next month.

Speaking about the café, one customer said: "I've not found better coffee in Liverpool, the cakes are amazing, and the savoury stuff is great."

Liverpool Science Park's 36,000 sq ft Innovation Centre 1, known as ic1, was launched in January 2006 before a second building, the 40,000 sq ft ic2, located on the other side of the cathedral, was launched in April last year.

Details of the rental agreement were not disclosed.
