Caddick names North West director

Caddick Developments has appointed Steve Widdowson as its director for the North West, a newly created role focused on expanding the company’s presence in the region.

Widdowson joined from McCafferty Asset Management where he was head of UK investment and development. Prior to McCafferty, Widdowson worked at Magnus for 22 years and left in 2014.

At Caddick, he will look for investment opportunities in high profile projects, including city centre office and mixed-use developments in Manchester, and out-of-town industrial parks.

He will be based in Warrington.

He said: “Caddick Developments has a portfolio of notable developments in the Yorkshire region, including Quarry Hill and Crosspoint 33, and I’m keen to replicate that success in the North West. I’m excited about what the future holds at Caddick, there’s a lot of opportunity and I’m proud to be a part of that.

“With its impressive track record and highly respected reputation, Caddick Developments will be a welcome addition to the North West development landscape and I’m looking forward to working with the talented team and driving growth.”
