C4 Projects launches logistics consultancy

The Warrington-based architectural and project management practice has set up C4 Logix to advise businesses on storage and warehouse operations and help them respond to the changing face of retail amid Covid-19.

C4 Logix aims to advise clients including e-retailers, third-party logistics providers and manufacturers, and conduct reviews to identify potential supply and delivery improvements that could be made to streamline their operations.

Paul Shore has been appointed managing director of the new consultancy and will lead the practice alongside Damian Horridge, founder and managing director of C4 Projects.

Shore joined C4 Logix after working for the past 18 months as director of Bisham Consulting, a logistics consultancy based in Marlow. Him and Horridge are looking to recruit more staff in the coming weeks.

Shore said: “There has never been a better time for retail businesses to take a really close look at their supply chain operations, especially with the almost overnight change in customer shopping habits.

“My background is in helping companies create the most efficient systems for storage, shipping, transport, stock-control and warehousing, with fully integrated, best-of-breed supply chain technology wrapped round it.

“I know supply chain and delivery systems have to work like clockwork., yet it so often falls far short of excellent.”

Horridge said: “Although the initial idea for C4 Logix was conceived prior to the pandemic, the current economic situation has really amplified the pressure on supply chains and the need for e-commerce businesses to optimise their efficiency.”

C4 Logix will operate out of C4 Project’s Wilderspool Park headquarters.
