Buyer sought for Newgate House

A seven-storey Rochdale building vacated earlier this year by the Department for Work & Pensions is being sold on behalf of owner Telereal Trillium by GL Hearn.

Newgate House is located opposite Rochdale Town Hall and adjacent to the Royal Exchange shopping centre.

It provides 50,000 sq ft of office space.

Offers are being invited for the freehold of the building, which remains empty.

Tekereal Trillium, a London-based landlord, would also consider lettings to new tenants.

Tracy Cooper, senior surveyor at GL Hearn, said: "Newgate House is a unique opportunity to occupy a prominent town centre development in Rochdale town centre.

"Overlooking and offering access to mature gardens, Newgate House will provide occupiers with a high quality working environment, in addition to being in close proximity to routes to Manchester city centre."
