Business park gains approval in Flintshire

Flintshire County Council has approved 103,000 sq ft of warehousing at Zone 2 of Deeside Industrial Park in North Wales.

Deeside Industrial Park is two miles from the end of the M56, and Zone 2 is made up of a 105-acre site which provides 850,000 sq ft of industrial, warehouse, and manufacturing units.

Planning consultant Indigo Planning, and architect Fletcher Rae, submitted the plans to provide two industrial units, measuring 63,000 sq ft and 40,000 sq ft along with an office and a management suite with car parking and landscaping.

Mark Diaper, associate director at Legat Owen, joint agents for the scheme with B8RE, said: “The site occupies a high-profile position at the entrance to Zone 2. This latest scheme provides occupiers with the ability to operate from high-quality facilities, which can be developed to suit their bespoke needs.”
