Burnham joins Northern Transport Summit line-up

Newly elected Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, will discuss his plans for transport and infrastructure in the city region at the Northern Transport Summit later this month.

Burnham will join key figures from the Department for Transport, Network Rail, Highways England, Peel Ports, Manchester Airports Group, Virgin Trains, Sheffield City Region, Liverpool City Council, Transport for Greater Manchester and many more organisations, at this full-day conference hosted by Place North West and Transport for the North.

The summit will feature keynote speeches and presentations, and in-depth panel discussions exploring rail, local government, multimodal transport, the private sector outlook and more.
