Building control contract up for grabs in Warrington

Warrington Borough Council has published a tender for a contract to help in the delivery of a development control and building control service in partnership with or for the local authority.

The ten-year contract will involve development control, supporting in the determination of any planning application or similar application made under the Town & Country Planning Acts.

The successful applicant will also need to provide specialist advice relating to the historic and built environment, the natural environment and ecology, trees and landscaping.

Deadline for submitting tenders is Monday 26 October 2009.
