Bruntwood takes Gym to Bank Chambers

The Gym in Manchester city centre will relocate from City Tower to Bank Chambers on Faulkner Street after it agreed a 19,000 sq ft lease with landlord Bruntwood.

The gym operator will move from a 15,400 sq ft space on the fourth floor of City Tower, which overlooks Piccadilly Gardens. The new venue is expected to be operational by August 2014.

The 51,000 sq ft Bank Chambers is the former home of the Bank of England and was vacated in the 1990s when it was then bought by Bruntwood.

Office space is available at Bank Chambers at a quoting rent of £16.50/sq ft.

Bruntwood was also the owner of City Tower until May this year when a £132m deal was agreed with asset manager Schroders.
