Bruntwood signs new tenants to Cotton Exchange

Bruntwood has let an 8,570 sq ft office at the Grade 2-listed Cotton Exchange on Bixteth Street in Liverpool city centre to Synapse Learning.

The training provider has agreed a ten-year lease for an undisclosed sum.

Colin Forshaw, head of sales at Bruntwood, said: "We've secured ten new lettings at the Cotton Exchange so far this year. It's testament to the building's value and quality and enforces our position as a market leader in Liverpool.

"It has been a busy start to 2010 with an ever-growing and diverse customer base. We have worked hard to develop quality office space that best meets our customers' requirements."

Richard Beaumont, chief operating officer of Synapse Learning, said: "When we were looking for new premises it was essential that we were in flexible, centrally located space. The Cotton Exchange fitted the bill perfectly."

Synapse Learning also has offices in Warrington, Manchester and Birmingham.

Consultancy E.S.M. Design has also signed a three-year tenancy on a 1,350 sq ft suite at the Cotton Exchange, while shipping company Anjon Freight Services has agreed a five-year lease with Bruntwood on a 1,100 sq ft office at the building.

Bruntwood has also let a 650 sq ft suite to Catherine Higgins Law while debt management company Madison Account Control Limited has moved into a 670 sq ft office. Lindner Schmidlin Facades Ltd has taken 420 sq ft suite.
