Bruntwood goes online with Metronet

Bruntwood has joined forces with Metronet UK to offer "super connected" internet connections at its properties in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Liverpool.

The partnership will see all of Bruntwood's office and retail space connected to the Metronet UK high-speed internet network.

Customers based in any Bruntwood office space will gain access to services such as high-speed internet connectivity, with speeds up to 10Gig a second.

Manchester-based Metronet UK is a business-only service provider, currently employed by more than 25% of Manchester's largest 500 businesses including "large campus" environments such as MediaCityUK and Manchester Science Parks.

James McCall, managing director of Metronet UK , said: "Bruntwood and Metronet UK already share lots of existing customers and our businesses are both underpinned by a strong customer service ethic.

"Internet connectivity is a mission-critical service to many companies as is flexibility, rapid installation and first-rate customer support.

"This partnership will allow every Bruntwood customer to benefit from these services, regardless of which office they choose.

"More than half of all Bruntwood office locations are already connected and in the next few months more than 95% of offices in Manchester, Cheshire, Liverpool Leeds and Birmingham will be online."

Andrew Butterworth, sales director at Bruntwood ,said "We recognise that high-speed internet provision is vital to the business success for the majority of our customers.

"This partnership will mean ultimately that any customer in a Bruntwood building can connect to the Metronet UK network within a few days and have access to the same suite of services across our entire portfolio of more than 110 buildings."
