Bruntwood Ellipse

The event on the morning of Sunday 2 September is open to all age and fitness levels, with three routes on the day.

The first route is a family-friendly 10-mile ride along quiet rural roads. Next is the leisurely 20-mile route through Cheshire's leafy lanes aimed at recreational cyclists. Finally for the Wiggins wannabes there's the challenging 55-mile route through the beautiful Peak District.

All events start and finish at Booths Hall, Knutsford, and are a great way to have a day out whilst raising money for Bruntwood's nominated charities – OnSide and The Factory Youth Zone.

Every penny of each rider's entry fee goes to the charities. Bruntwood pays all the set up and running costs.

The Ellipse is in its fourth year and has proved itself to be a fun family day, with warm-up routines led by professional fitness instructors and BBQ/refreshments stalls. There's plenty of free parking too.

The cost of entry per person is:

  • Ellipse (55 miles): £20
  • Mini Ellipse (22 miles): £15
  • Family Ellipse (10 miles): £6
