Browne Jacobson appoints legal director
Ragene Raithatha joins the legal firm from DWF, where she was the director for the real estate, construction and infrastructure team.
Raithatha will work out of Browne Jacobson’s Manchester office at No.1 Spinningfields. She will be part of the firm’s construction practice, which advises on contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
Raithatha spent six years with DWF and before then was a solicitor with Napthens in Preston.
Browne Jacobson has been growing its construction practice in Manchester, which has increased its revenue by 9% in the 2020-2021 financial year compared to the year before.
“We are delighted to welcome Ragene to our Manchester office,” said Tim Claremont, construction partner at Browne Jacobson. “Her knowledge and extensive expertise will be a major asset to our construction industry credentials.”
“With experts predicting construction output in the North West will return to pre-Covid-19 levels within the next couple of years we believe now is the perfect time to expand our national practice into Manchester.”
In addition to Manchester, Browne Jacobson has offices in Birmingham, Exeter, London and Nottingham. It offers advice to a wide range of clients including both national and international companies, NHS trusts, local government bodies and SMEs.
