Brooks Bros acquires Skelmersdale warehouse

Timber supplier Brooks Bros has acquired the freehold of a 22,510 sq ft warehouse in Glebe Road, Skelmersdale.

The warehouse was marketed by CBRE on behalf of Quorum Estates with an asking price of £775,000.

Darren Hill, senior surveyor at CBRE, said: "This acquisition by Brooks Bros illustrates the fact that despite challenging market conditions there are still occupiers looking to expand and emphasises the firm's confidence in Skelmersdale as a location."

CBRE has also been instructed by Quorum Estates to dispose of the adjacent 27,530 sq ft unit which is available on either a freehold or leasehold basis and has recently had a new roof installed and boasts a dedicated power substation.
