Braemar recruits for growth into Yorkshire

Henry Powell-Jones has left Liverpool-based property broker and fund manager Bold Spirit Group to run Braemar Estates' new Leeds office.

Powell-Jones spent seven years in the British Army and was an infantry officer in the Royal Green Jackets, before joining Bold Spirit, controlled by retired army Major Dominic Farrell, in 2007.

Braemar Estates, headquartered in Hale, Trafford, is part of the Brooks Macdonald Group and has £750m of property assets under management.

Powell-Jones will be based at the Scotfield-developed Gateway scheme on East Street in central Leeds. The Gateway is Braemar's first significant scheme under management in the city. As business development manager, Powell-Jones will be tasked with developing and growing the business' existing block and portfolio management services in the region. company's ongoing strategy for growth.
