Braemar hires Keoghs lawyer to take work in-house

Hale-based Braemar Group has appointed Keoghs Solicitors partner Tracey Hardman as in-house counsel with immediate effect.

Hardman, a Cambridge and Chester College of Law graduate, joined Keoghs in Bolton in 1996, becoming a partner in 2000. Braemar will bring in-house much of the legal work that the group currently has to contract out to external law firms, and will develop its fund management and compliance functions.

Marc Duschenes, chief executive of Braemar Group commented: "Tracey's wealth of experience will enable us to conduct much of our legal work in-house to the mutual benefit of our clients and shareholders. Moving from being a small company to a medium enterprise certainly requires Tracey's expertise, and I hope that our current legal advisors equally enjoy the benefits of this structure to continue providing a first class service to our clients."

Established in 2001 and quoted on AIM in December 2005, Braemar, through its two core divisions Braemar Securities and Braemar Estates (Residential), creates and manages a range of real estate investment funds.
