Brabners property head joins Davitt Jones Bould

Tony Fitzmaurice has left Brabners, where he was head of property in the Manchester office, to join rival lawyer Davitt Jones Bould as group director.

Fitzmaurice spent four years at Brabners, following 18 years at Cobbetts, latterly as head of real estate.

DJB's Manchester office opened in 2011 and has acted for Wirral and Warrington councils.

Fitzmaurice said: "The unique structure of Davitt Jones Bould offers an opportunity to provide a very personal, professional and cost effective service to my clients. The firm has embraced the dramatic changes in the legal market over the past few years and adapted to ensure that its clients receive the service they require, at a price they find reasonable. I am confident that DJB will continue to adapt and innovate and am looking forward to contributing to this process."
