Bornmore Metals leases Heywood warehouse

The metal supply company has leased the 23,000 sq ft Unit 6 at Broadfield Business Park in Heywood from owner Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund for 10 years.

Bornmore Metals, which specialises in aluminium, stainless steel, brass and copper, will now relocate its 20 staff from its existing base at Bornmore Industrial Estate in Bury.

The letting means that the Broadfield Industrial Estate is now fully let.

Ruth Leighton, associate director at Avison Young, which acted on behalf of GMPVF, said: “Broadfield Business Park is a fantastic location and I’m sure that Bornmore Metals will really benefit, not only from the location, but also from the high-quality offering.”

Ian Griffiths, managing director of Bornmore Metals, said: “Broadfield Business Park is on Pilsworth Road, opposite Heywood Distribution Park. It has excellent links to the local motorway network. We have a fleet of six vehicles with a daily service to Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, the North East, and Scotland, so location and access to major motorways was really important to us.”
