Mountain Warehouse has signed up to the retail development at Brunswick Road, Penrith next to the town's Booths food store.
Mountain Warehouse, a clothing and outdoor equipment retailer, has taken a 6,093 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease from landlords Booths Penrith, a joint venture vehicle between EH Booth & Co and Maple Grove Developments. Robert Pinkus & Co. acted on behalf of the landlord.
The development at Brunswick Road, Penrith is anchored by a 32,000 sq ft Booths food, wine and grocery store and an existing WCF Country Centre fronting a 170-space customer car park. The development is complete and all three stores are open and trading to the public.
Robert Pinkus, partner at Robert Pinkus & Co, said: "Mountain Warehouse provides the perfect complementary retail fit for both Booths and WCF Country Centres at this location and we wish them well with their new store."
Mountain Warehouse was founded in 1997 and now has more than 140 stores across the UK and Ireland. This will be the retailer's eight store in Cumbria region.
