Bolton tenders for £12m framework

Bolton Council wants to establish a three year construction framework with a number of contractors to carry out refurbishment and extensions to buildings in the area.

The council said the £12m framework will involve work such as school extensions, school refurbishments, leisure and office facilities, parks/play grounds, animal sanctuaries, and small retail/market facilities.

The framework will help the council deliver the contaminated land capital projects programme which is run by the Environment Agency and funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Bolton Council estimates ten appointments will be made to the framework and the work will be delivered in four lots.

Deadline for submitting tenders is 7pm on Friday 8 April.
