Bluemantle signs textile firm to Holt Town mills

Cheshire-based property group, Bluemantle, has secured a single occupier for its two Victorian mills, Bengal and Union Mill, in Holt Town, East Manchester.

Textile manufacturer, Ambron, one of its previously existing tenants, has agreed to occupy the buildings which extend to 86,287 sq ft on a five year lease at £125,000 a year.

Bluemantle acquired Bengal and Union Mill six years ago and undertook a comprehensive refurbishment of the premises. The brick mills are next to the 95-acre Holt Town Waterfront regeneration area.

Paul Stewart of Bluemantle commented: "We were pleased to have negotiated this new lease with Ambron and to have been able to work with them to meet their requirements."

DWF Solicitors acted on behalf of Bluemantle.
