Bloor secures Cheshire housing approval

The Manchester-based planning team of architecture practice, Broadway Malyan, has secured planning permission for housing on a greenfield site in Kelsall on behalf of Bloor Homes North West.

Cheshire West & Chester Council's planning committee approved the 33-house scheme. A range of family properties and affordable homes will now be built.

Justin Cove, associate planner at Broadway Malyan, said: "The successful application reflects the suitability of the site, as well as our team's proactive approach to public consultation, working relationship with the council and partnership with the client."

The housing supply and associated pressures facing the Cheshire West & Chester area are well documented as the population is predicted to increase by a further 11% to 368,900 by 2031.
