Bling King’s Liverpool site for sale

Hairstylist and local celebrity Herbert Howe's Bling Bling Building in Liverpool city centre has been put on the market with a £2.75m price tag.

Estate agent Sutton Kersh has been instructed to sell the 15,000 sq ft property in the city centre, which was designed by architect Piers Gough in 2006 to reflect the personality of Howe, who has been dubbed "the King of Bling".

The six-storey block at 69 Hanover Street currently houses Howe's Herbert of Liverpool salon.

It is unclear at this stage as to whether Howe plans to relocate, let the building to a retail occupier, or lease the building from an investor owner.

Jonathan Owen, commercial director at Sutton Kersh: "We are honoured to have been instructed to sell this iconic building and work with one of Liverpool's nationally established brands and individuals Herbert Howe."
