Black Cat hires from AHR

Amie McGagh has joined the consultancy as a director from AHR, where she worked in the architect’s building surveying team.

McGagh spent five years at AHR including three-and-ahalf as a regional director, and has joined Black Cat’s Manchester office; the company has also bases in Bristol and a recently-opened office in London.

Before working at AHR, McGagh also worked for Aedas for just over three years.

Founding director James Dyson said: “We are ecstatic to welcome Amie into the team. Her experience in both public and private sectors compliment the diverse range of instructions Black Cat are currently working on and Amie will be vital in delivering these projects.

“We are currently in the early stages of delivering over £100 million of town centre regeneration instructions with local councils throughout the UK and Amie’s experience will help to drive these genuinely town-altering projects forward.”

McGagh added: “I have joined Black Cat at what seems like a really exciting time, the breadth and scale of the projects being worked on is fantastic and it’s refreshing to be involved in such a cross section of jobs for such a diverse range of clients.”
