Birch Business Park fully let as Taziker moves in

Advised by Colliers International, infrastructure and engineering specialist Taziker has relocated its manufacturing base to Birch Business Park in Rochdale, taking a 10-year lease on a 43,400 sq ft unit.

The company is doubling the size of its warehousing capacity by making the move from its existing base on Lodge Bank in Bolton. Its new facility in Rochdale features 38,000 sq ft of fabrication space, a two-storey office, and eight overhead cranes.

Taziker’s move means the 392,000 sq ft Birch Business Park on the M62 corridor is now fully let, while landlord and Yeargate is planning to build a further two speculative units of 13,000 sq ft at the site to meet demand.

Taziker also has locations in Scotland, Plymouth, York, Middlesbrough, and Cardiff, and employs around 550 staff across the UK.

John Sullivan, director of industrial and logistics at Colliers International’s Manchester office, said: “This was a very good deal for both tenant and landlord.

“Unit C was the last remaining vacant unit on the estate, with the move providing evidence of Taziker’s confidence in its growth prospects and confidence in Birch Business Park as a location.”
