BIMM signs 15-year lease in Manchester

Music college BIMM Manchester has signed for 8,600 sq ft of space across three floors in Great Marlborough Street.

The music college has agreed a 15-year lease with no break clauses.

Daniel Lee of Regional Property Solutions, who let the building on behalf of the landlord Fangrade and MBLC Trustees said: "When I saw the requirements BIMM was looking for, I knew this building met its criteria.

"Not only was it big enough but self-contained – essential in terms of the music being generated.

"It is also situated in the heart of the student quarter with excellent transport links on its doorstep.

"The letting was agreed with BIMM, prior to the lease expiry of the then occupier, Manchester Metropolitan University".

The property was formerly used as offices and consent has now been granted for change of use.

BIMM Manchester is a contemporary music college for young musicians and budding music business executives who are committed to a career in the music industry.

It has colleges in Brighton, Dublin, Bristol and London.

Jones Lang La Salle represented BIMM in its search for its Manchester premises.
