Bilsdale completes first deal at 80 Mosley Street

Construction consultant WT Partnership has become the first office occupier to take space at the redeveloped 80 Mosley Street in central Manchester having agreed a 10-year lease for 1,800 sq ft.

Joint letting agents WHR Property Consultants and King Sturge are quoting £18.50/sq ft to £22.50/sq ft at the building overlooking St Peter's Square.

Leeds-based Bilsdale Properties, controlled by the family trusts of the late steel magnate and Blackburn Rovers FC backer Jack Walker, acquired the original four-storey building from Royal London and has more than doubled its height.

David Lynch of Bilsdale said: "We are experiencing interest from a wide range of occupiers and we are delighted that WT Partnership has decided to relocate their business to 80 Mosley Street."

WT Partnership employs around 950 staff in 50 offices located all over the world. Dean Smith, managing director for WT Partnership's north and midlands offices, added: "Our move back into the city centre reflects a commitment to Manchester, in which the business celebrates 60 years of active presence this year."
