Beverley Clifton Morris plans for growth

The Manchester-based firm low carbon and energy efficiency specialist has appointed and promoted two to executive level positions as part of its expansion plan.

Beverley Clifton Morris welcomed Alex Pitman as commercial director and promoted Rich Hart to operations director, with plans for six recruits to join in the coming months.

Pitman joined from The Co-operative Group, where he reduced the group's energy consumption by 40% across 5,000 sites in his role as energy, environment and engineering manager. His role at BCM will see him strategically develop the business, through generating new offerings and services, building new partnerships and maximising existing relationships.

Rich Hart joined BCM in 2005 as a graduate. As operations director, Hart will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects.

BCM is looking to appoint four engineers over the coming months, which along with two Liverpool John Moores University Knowledge Transfer Partnership placements, will bring BCM's headcount to 24. BCM plans to grow by 25% this year and build on that growth in the following year.

Brian Morris, managing director, said: "These appointments come as part of our strategic expansion in line with our growth plans both within the North West and nationally. We already have significant demand for our low carbon services in London and are currently advancing our plans to establish an office in the capital."
