Berkeley Brown bought back from liquidators

South Manchester surveyors Berkeley Brown have re-launched after the business was placed into voluntary creditors liquidation.

Owner Bernard Brown acquired the goodwill and trading name of the business and set up a new operating company.

Martin Halligan at Anderton Hall Recovery in Bolton was appointed insolvency practitioner on 24 June for Berkeley Property Consultants Limited.

Following the liquidation and re-launch Berkeley Brown is moving office from Quorum's Barons Court in Wilmslow to Bovis's Eden Point in Cheadle Hulme.

It is not clear how much debt was amassed by Berkeley Property Consultants and to whom money was owed.

Halligan and Brown were unavailable for comment when contacted by Place.
