Bellway set for start on Cheshire homes

Bellway is planning to start on site next year on the construction of a 64-home scheme at Rushgreen Road in Lymm.

The housebuilder won planning consent for the project at Tanyard Farm earlier this year after the planning inspector overturned Warrington Council’s previous refusal.

The development will be known as Sandstone Brook and include a mix of three- and four-bedroom houses. A community park is also planned.

The show home is expected to open in spring 2020.

Bellway said it will make a £49,300 healthcare contribution; a £178,000 secondary education contribution; a £15,000 contribution towards a playing pitch; and a £5,000 traffic regulation order.

Lynne Duxbury, sales director at Bellway, said: “We are pleased to unveil our plans for Sandstone Brook in Lymm. With its sought-after village location and superb selection of three and four-bedroom properties, we anticipate plenty of interest in this development.”
