Belgian investor buys in Liverpool

A Belgian property investment company has acquired a retail site in Liverpool city centre.

Vabeld Real Estate has bought the freehold for 17-19 Church Street from the Friends Life Assurance Society for £7.15m.

It is understood the sale price represents a net initial yield of 5.75%.

The 9,500 sq ft property is let to Vodafone until June 2019.

Axa Real Estate sold the property on behalf of Friends Life Assurance Society.
