BDP’s Manchester leadership team grows
BDP has promoted architect Ged Couser and building services engineer Robert Ferry to the international practice’s executive.
BDP is an interdisciplinary practice of architects, designers, engineers and urbanists, which was recently acquired by Japanese engineering practice, Nippon Koei.
The promotions will increase the Manchester office to a leadership team of six.
Couser is leading the architect profession group and is also president of Manchester Architects. His work is primarily focused on healthcare; he was the project director for the new Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and is currently leading the new Clatterbridge cancer centre project.
Ferry is leading the BDP environmental design group and building services team and is a former chairman of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers in the North West. His major projects include the engineering of the Manchester Town Hall Extension and the Central Library transformation programme.
