BCM hires four to keep pace with growth

Building services design consultancy, BCM, has recruited four staff to take its headcount to 21 with a further two vacancies to be filled in the coming months.

Flora Ambit and Jacob Barber have joined as graduate engineers. Ambit previously worked in an engineering role in her native country, Spain, and has a degree in mechanical engineering from Miguel Hernandez University, Alicante. Barber graduated in aerospace engineering from the University of Leicester.

Martin Jorgenson joined in the role of technician. Jackson Woods joined as marketing strategy manager via BCM's partnership with Liverpool John Moores University.

These new positions are in addition to two new executive roles recently created in which BCM welcomed Alex Pitman from the Co-operative Group as commercial director and promoted Rich Hart to operations director.

Brian Morris, managing director, said: "This recruitment wave is part of our strategic expansion in line with our growth plans. Not only do we ensure that our M&E design work is sustainable, we also ensure than any recruitment and growth is sustainable too. We have planned our growth at an achievable level so as to ensure each step we take is a solid one. We plan to grow by 25% this year and build on that growth in the following year."

BCM, based in central Manchester, specialises in low carbon M&E design.
