Barnfield on site with £18m Altrincham resi refurb

Real Estate Investment Partnerships has appointed Barnfield Construction to build its £18m development, Alderbank WA14, formerly Alexandra House, in Altrincham.

Barnfield Construction, based in Nelson, has now started on site.

The development has been designed by Ollier Smurthwaite Architects, and is made up of 34 apartments and 6 mews houses on the corner of Ashley Road and St John’s Road.

Eleven of the properties are currently under offer.

Stephen Slater, chief executive of Real Estate Investment Partnerships, said: “Barnfield Construction has proven to be the ideal partner to bring Alderbank WA14 to life. The team has a stellar track record in the construction of premium residential developments, with exceptional attention to detail, so we’re very confident that they will deliver this luxury scheme to the high expectations of our buyers.”

This is one of several schemes that the developer is launching across Cheshire and Manchester, including Highbank at Green Walk, the £9m regeneration development of the former Transform Clinic in Bowdon.
