Barnfield adds to estimating team

Barnfield Construction has hired Jenny Martin, formerly of Preston-based property company Carefoot, as estimator.

Martin is currently studying for a masters degree in construction law. At Carefoot she helped secure a partnering agreement with Cheshire council and priced tendered work. She also has experience of pricing apartments, student accommodation, education and healthcare schemes ranging from £100,000 to £30m.

She obtained a first class degree in commercial management with quantity surveying whilst continuing to work full time.

Barnfield is based in Nelson, Lancashire.
